This is Shawn Thomas, the Rec and Parks chairman for the Westland Area Commission. I live in Westchester and frequently drive past the park on Galloway Rd. I've frequently observed people on the opposite side of Galloway Rd. waiting to cross at Glenwillow Blvd. This road dead ends on Galloway Rd., across the road from the northeast corner of the park. A path has formed on the park side of the road where people cross.
I feel it would be a good idea to at least have a sign posted ,warning drivers of a pedestrian crossing. But I'm not sure what jurisdiction to approach. I thought I'd check with you, but I'm also checking with the City of Columbus, as the neighborhood it effects is in the city.
Thanks,
Shawn

You should not be able to smoke in shared buildings. Most owners have rules in place so you can't smoke in apartments or shared buildings, but some still allow it. I sadly live in a condo complex where there are smokers in my shared building. I had severe covid last year and have been fighting with it-I've been on a steroid inhaler all year. The renters that moved in next door smoke CONSTANTLY. Everything in my condo smells like pot/cigarette smoke. It's ruining my health that I've been trying to build back up. My pet got a respiratory infection because of them. I've gotten bad reviews on items I've sold because they smell like smoke. Most people I know are nice enough to smoke outside because they know how they affect others. Some people don't care at all. I just want people to at least smoke outside or out a window. It lowers property value. The owner won't put a clause in the rental agreement. I can't just leave-I bought my unit to be my home. Air purifiers etc run all the time
