The Pleasant Prairie Solar Energy Center (Project) is a 250 MW solar-powered electric generation facility that is proposed to be constructed in Pleasant and Prairie Townships, Franklin County, OH. The Project is sited about 10 miles West of downtown Columbus, with a Northern portion along West Broad Street. The project application has been submitted to the Ohio Power Siting Board. If approved, the projected completion of the project is 2023.
The Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting on May 25th from 6 - 8 pm at the Prairie Township Community Center (5955 West Broad Street) to hear public comments on the Pleasant Prairie Solar Energy Project. Comments can be submitted to the Township Administrator.
