The Mission of the Prairie Township Farmer’s Market is to offer the community an opportunity to purchase locally grown produce directly from farmers in addition to cottage food and hand crafted products.
Days, Hours and Location of Operation
The Farmer’s Market is held on Monday afternoons from 4 - 7 pm rain or shine, June 28 through September 27. (NO MARKET ON LABOR DAY) at the Prairie Township Community Center, located at 5955 West Broad St., Galloway, OH 43119.

You can get tokens for SNAP, Produce Perks and Credit Cards with us too! Come see us at the Market and sign up for our mailing list.
Due to COVID-19 there are a few guidelines for attending the market in 2021. Click here for a complete list for both patrons and vendors.
- If you are unwell, do not attend the market
- Maintain 6 foot social distance
- Hand washing and hand sanitizer stations will be available
- Masks are not required
SNAP & Produce Perks Accepted Here
It’s easy to use your Ohio Direction Card to buy fresh, healthy food at the Prairie Township Farmer’s Market.
Visit the information tent at the market to swipe your EBT card. We will give you tokens to purchase eligible items at the market. The Produce Perks program will double every SNAP dollar up to $25 to purchase fruits & vegetables.
WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program Now Accepted Here
Produce vendors will now be able to accept WIC FMNP coupons at the market. Coupons are only valid for locally grown fruits and vegetables.
WIC will be on-site distributing coupons on the dates listed below.

OSU Extension SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education)
Provides cooking demos with samples, free nutrition information, free recipes, and handouts with tips on keeping your families healthy.
We will be featuring recipes from the Celebrate Your Plate campaign. Celebrate Your Plate is here to help Ohioans lead healthier lives by eating more fruits and vegetables. We’re an initiative of the Ohio Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - Education (SNAP-Ed). SNAP-Ed helps low-income people around our state make healthy food and lifestyle choices.”

LifeCare Alliance Senior Coupons Farmer’s Market Program
Senior Coupons are accepted at Kuhlwein’s Farm Market, Elfrink Farms and Produce and Hoffman’s Farm Market. Coupons will not be distributed in 2021.
