The Mission of the Prairie Township Farmer's Market is to offer the community an opportunity to purchase locally grown produce directly from farmers in addition to cottage food and hand crafted products.

Market Begins June 11!

Days, Hours and Location of Operation

The Farmer's Market is held on Monday afternoons from 4 - 7 pm rain or shine, June 11 through the end of September ( NO MARKET ON JULY 2 and LABOR DAY) at the Prairie Township Community Center, located at 5955 West Broad St., Galloway, OH 43119.

SNAP & Produce Perks Accepted Here

It’s easy to use your Ohio Direction Card to buy fresh, healthy food at the Prairie Township Farmer’s Market.

Visit the information tent at the market to swipe your EBT card. We will give you tokens to purchase eligible items at the market. The Produce Perks program will double every SNAP dollar up to $20 to purchase fruits & vegetables.

OSU Extension SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education)
The OSU Extension SNAP-Ed program will be on site at the market June 11, July 9, August 13 and September 10
providing cooking demos with samples, free nutrition information, free recipes, and handouts with tips on keeping your families healthy.

We will be featuring recipes from the Celebrate Your Plate campaign. Celebrate Your Plate is here to help Ohioans lead healthier lives by eating more fruits and vegetables. We're an initiative of the Ohio Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - Education (SNAP-Ed). SNAP-Ed helps low-income people around our state make healthy food and lifestyle choices.”

LifeCare Alliance Senior Coupons Farmer’s Market Program

Franklin County Coupon Distribution Date is June 12 at 9 am. The location  is LifeCare Alliance and the address is 670 Harmon Ave., Columbus, OH 43223. Applications will need to be completed and brought with you on June 12. Applications can be downloaded by clicking here
Senior Coupons are accepted at Hinton Apiaries and Kuhlwein’s Farm Market at the Prairie Township Farmer’s Market.
